National Diary Archive Foundation in Pieve Santo Stefano

Pieve Santo Stefano (Arezzo) has been considered since 1984 as the 'City of Diaries' and hosts at the Town Hall a public archives gathering the writings of ordinary people describing their lives and the history of Italy in various forms: diaries, letters, autobiographical memoirs.
The collaboration set out with the Task Force aims to enhance the documentary heritage kept in the National Diary Archives in Pieve Santo Stefano, including diaries, memoirs, and letters from the First World War.

The project provides for a series of activities including a phase of research on the documents available, and subsequent publication, the digitalisation of the endowment available, the mounting of an exhibition and a theatrical show.
