The planning of infrastructural interventions
The outline plan of the recovery interventions is organised along the five-year period from 2014 to 2018.
In particular, four main macro interventions were identified, to be implemented one every year starting from 2015, besides a series of minor interventions however having a high historical value, and distributed over the time according to the most important cultural events.
2014
- Launch of the planning of all the interventions proposed
- Beginning of the conservative restoration of the War Cemetery in Redipuglia
- Beginning of the construction of the War Memorial at the House of the 3rd Army in Redipuglia
- Rebuilding of the roofing of the War Memorial in Oslavia
- Development of the Virtual Museum of the Great War at the railway station of Redipuglia
2015
- Unveiling of the War Memorial at the House of the 3rd Army in Redipuglia
- First portion of the conservative restoration of the War Cemetery in Redipuglia
- Restoration of the War Memorial in Montello
- Restoration of the Italian Cemetery of Bligny in France.
2016
- Inauguration of the conservative restoration of the War Memorial in Asiago and of the War Memorial established within the War Cemetery
- Restoration of the Caduti d’Oltremare War Memorial in Bari
- Restoration of the Italian Cemetery of Mauthausen in Austria.
2017
- Conservative restoration of the War Cemetery in Monte Grappa and of its War Memorial.
- Restoration of the Caporetto War Memorial in Slovenia.
2018
- Unveiling of the newly-organised Naval Museum of Venice inside of the Venetian Arsenal.
