The Institute for the History of the Italian Risorgimento
The Institute for the History of the Italian Risorgimento promotes and supports the studies on the Italian History from the period preceding the Unity and Independence, until the end of the First World War, by gathering documents, publications and relicts, by arranging the publications of sources and memories, and organising scientific conferences.
The Memorandum of Understanding signed on 4th March 2013 allows the Task Force of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers to avail itself of the historical-scientific collaboration and of the vast documentary and artistic heritage of the Institute, which represents still nowadays one of the main sources for the study of Italy.
These materials will be useful for the implementation of projects related to the Great War, and for the scientific, educational, exhibition and multimedia activities linked to the commemorations of the centenary of the First World War.
